SOUDERTON, Penn. (WPHL) — For the fall season, Asher’s Chocolate Company and Conshohocken Brewing Company released their latest limited-edition beer to raise money for pediatric cancer research. The Chocolate Orange Porter is the fourth collaboration between the two locally owned businesses. Every Saturday through October, the two are inviting beer enthusiasts and chocolate lovers to their pop-up beer gardens, one of which is right outside the chocolate factory in Souderton, Penn.
“It’s just in time for the holidays,” said Andrew Coligan, director of sales for Coshohocken Brewery. “This is perfect for inspiration from chocolate and orange, a seasonal, citrus fruit. And it goes great with their milk chocolate orange creams too.”
The Chocolate Orange Porter features a silky-smooth and rich body from dark malts, backed up by cocoa nibs, then conditioned on oranges for a bright citrus accent with an ABV of 5.3%. Beer and chocolate enthusiasts can experience at the Conshohocken Brewing Pop-Up Beer Garden located at Asher’s Chocolate Co. in Souderton or visit any of the four Conshohocken Brewing destinations (Conshohocken, King of Prussia, Phoenixville, Bridgeport). For those in Pennsylvania, the option to purchase the limited release beer is also available online at ConshyExpress.com.
