SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) – Aniyah’s Foundation of Hope was created by mother Shaneika Citizen in 2018 in honor of her daughter, Aniyah, who died from cancer at just three years old.
Aniyah Byrd died after a battle with stage four neuroblastoma. Now her family is is on a mission to make sure her story is heard around the world.
Citizen says her purpose in life now is to give strength to other families with children battling cancer.
“Aniyah’s Foundation of Hope is for her and it’s for other kids, as well that have neuroblastoma and also other childhood cancers,” said Citizen.
