Every October, the Friends of the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation (AACR) holds its Party with a Purpose Gala in Philadelphia with the aim of raising funds for cancer research.
Each year the event committee selects a specific type of cancer to focus awareness on and to target for its fund-raising efforts.
This year, childhood cancer was selected as the focus by one of our honorees, immediate past-President of Friends of the AACR Foundation, Beverly Fassler Goldberg.
