Ben Austin is at it again.

The two-time cancer survivor and fifth-grader at Forks Elementary School helped spearhead a fundraising campaign to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

His “Go for the Gold with Ben” campaign netted $2,500, according to Forks Elementary School Principal Charlene Symia.

Each class in Forks Elementary raised at least $20, which was enough to earn everyone permission to wear pajamas to school for a day. They also raised enough to earn rewards donated by Sheetz and Walmart, Symia said. Carmella Mattes’ fifth graders raised the most money, about $350, Symia said.
