OCTOBER 26, 2024 – American Heritage School Pre-Medical Program students hosted their 25th Annual Superhero Party at Broward Health Medical Center for 20 pediatric cancer patients.

During this memorable event, young patients wrote wish lists for Santa and mailed them to the North Pole, played board games, created necklaces and dressed up as their favorite superheroes. In the following weeks, the students will raise funds to make the children’s holiday wishes come true. The Peter Pan-themed room, decorated by the students, provided a magical setting where patients, doctors, nurses and students connected through games and crafts.

This annual celebration reflects American Heritage Schools’ Pre-Medical Program’s long-standing commitment to supporting pediatric patients at Broward Health. Broward Health’s Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital remains a vital resource for comprehensive pediatric hematology-oncology care in South Florida, offering specialized treatments for children with blood disorders and cancer.
